Seniors Tessa Anderson (women’s soccer) and Lucas Kramarczuk (men’s track and field) were recognized as the 2022-23 recipients of the Dave Hauck Award by the St. Olaf College Athletic Department at the first Golden Oles Awards on Tuesday evening.
Established in 2010 in honor of longtime head men’s and women’s swimming and diving coach Dave Hauck, the award is given annually to one female and one male senior student-athlete who have demonstrated high levels of academic achievement, community service, and athletic excellence. Anderson and Kramarczuk are the 21st and 22nd recipients of the award.
Anderson is the first student-athlete from the St. Olaf women’s soccer program to earn the honor, while Kramarczuk is the seventh honoree from men’s track and field. Of the seven men’s track and field honorees, Kramarczuk is the first who did not participate in another sport during his time at St. Olaf.
